Pop-Punk & Pizza Podcast #190: Blind Adam & The Federal League and Bluprint
Hey! Just to warn you, I had some technical difficulties while recording this episode. So if things sound a little funky, that's why!
For the first time in two years, I'm happy to welcome a band back into the studio for an in-person pizza eating interview! I'm glad it was my friends in, Bluprint. We grew up playing together in the Kankakee, IL punk scene. They just released a killer new song called, "Home", recorded by, Sean O'Keefe, and produced by, Mark Rose.
Before my chat with Josh, Tyler, and Taylor of Bluprint, I had a virtual conversation with Adam Gogola of Blind Adam & The Federal League. They just released their sophomore album, An Act of Desperation, via A-F Records this past September. It was produced by, Chris "#2" Barker of Anti-Flag.
Much Love,
Jacques LaMore

Pop-Punk & Pizza Podcast #189: David McWane of Big D & The Kids Table
and Matt Sullivan of Title Holder
Hey! I hope you've got your skankin' shoes on because this episode features two guests from the ska punk world.
Matt Sullivan is the frontman and all around creative mind for new ska punk band, Title Holder. Matt tells us how he worked hard on his songwriting skills with Chris DeMakes of Less Than Jake and Nik Bruzzese of Man Overboard to properly shape this new project.
David McWane is the mastermind behind Boston's very own ska punk band, Big D & The Kids Table. Their ninth studio album, Do Your Art, will be released via SideOneDummy Records on October 22nd. Dave and I had a blast talking about the inspiration behind the new record, ska fans versus metal fans, and how you should never give up on your art.
Much Love,

Pop-Punk & Pizza Podcast #188: Dan Lambton of rationale.
Hey! I'm glad you're here. We only have one guest on this episode but he's a real treat and someone I've been wanting to catch up with for a long time. In early 2020, Dan Lambton and Real Friends announced Dan's departure from the band. Since then, Real Friends, has welcomed Cody Muraro as their new lead vocalist and released a new EP. Dan on the other hand has devoted his time and energy into, rationale., a band he has been a part of since 2014 with Joe Taylor and Ryan Rumchaks of Knuckle Puck. rationale. just inked a deal with Smartpunk Records to release their sophomore album, If The Problem Persists. Dan and I stripped down some of the meanings behind the new songs and also reminisced about the days when our old bands used to play shows with each other.
Thank you for being on the show, Dan! It was great to catch up after all these years.
Much Love,
Jacques LaMore

Chris Swinney of Fire Sale and That One Time On Tour Podcast.
Pop-Punk & Pizza Podcast #187: MEGG Along with Chris Swinney of Fire Sale
MEGG bridges the gap between her love for pop music and her Southern California beach punk rock roots. Her new EP, "Here For Now", is a perfect blend of the two genres. MEGG and I had the chance to talk about how the new EP came together and how she's working hard to become a prominent songwriter in the industry.
Chris Swinney is one of the former guitarists of The Ataris and is a man of many talents. In 2018, Chris began his own podcast called, That One Time On Tour, where he has conversations with several well known musicians. Fast forward to 2021 and not only is the podcast doing very well, Chris has started a new band called, Fire Sale. Pre-order their debut 7-inch now via Sbäm Records.

Pop-Punk & Pizza Podcast #186: Steve Caballero along with Ted Felicetti of Don’t Panic
Don’t Panic just released their second full length album, “Dark Horse”. Frontman, Ted Felicetti, was nice enough to talk with us for about 20 minutes just before having to hit the stage. Don’t Panic is currently on a short tour with The Queers.
Steve Caballero is a world famous skateboarder who also doubles as a punk rock musician. His new band, Urethane, packs quite a melodic punk punch. Their debut album, “Chasing Horizons”, drops September 24th via Cyber Tracks Records.
It was an honor talking with both of you!
Much Love,

Pop-Punk & Pizza Podcast #184: Christian Fisher of Settle Your Scores
And Scott Radinsky of Pulley
Settle Your Scores just released their third album, "Retrofit", via Mutant League Records. I think the album has full potential to become a classic album in the pop punk scene. Settle Your Scores lead vocalist, Christian Fisher, joins us on this episode of Pop-Punk & Pizza Podcast to discuss the new album and Dungeons and Dragons. Yep, we went there!
Pulley is considered by many to be one of the mainstays in the 1990s skate punk rock scene. One of things that sets the band apart from their peers is lead vocalist, Scott Radinsky, played Major League Baseball during a good portion of the bands years together. It was fascinating to hear Scott talk about his time as a professional baseball player and how getting kicked out of Ten Foot Poll led to the creation of Pulley. Right now, you can pre-order Pulley's newest vinyl release, "Encore", via Sbäm Records.

Pop-Punk & Pizza Podcast #183:
20 Years of Sugarcult's "Start Static" with Marko DeSantis
I can't believe this Saturday, August 21st will mark 20 years since Sugarcult released their debut album, "Start Static", to the world. I was only 11 years old when it came out and I remember going to the record store with my oldest brother Josh to buy it. "Start Static" is one of my favorite albums of all time. Not only that, I consider it to be one of the most influential records of it's time. The album inspired so many of us, who are now in our 30s, to start pop punk oriented bands when we were just teenagers.
I thought it would be fun to celebrate the 20th anniversary of, "Start Static", with Sugarcult lead guitarist, Marko DeSantis. I'm grateful he agreed to come onto Pop-Punk & Pizza to share some behind the scene stories during the making of the album. Marko was very pleasant to talk with and had so many fun memories to share with us!
"Start Static" 20th Anniversary Deluxe Edition Vinyl is on sale now at sugarcult.com!

Pop-Punk & Pizza Podcast #182: Carlo Ribaux & Harrison Nida of Victory Kid
Victory Kid is yet ANOTHER incredible ska punk band out of California. Even though the band is newer to the scene, they have been making some waves and making the right connections. Some of those connections include working with Matt Appleton of Reel Big Fish, Arion Salazar of Third Eye Blind, and Allan Hessler to craft their first full length album, "Discernation". SBÄM Records releases the album this Friday, August 13th. Their lead vocalist, Harrison Nida, and drummer, Carlo Ribaux, join us on this episode of Pop-Punk & Pizza to talk about the album, John Mayer, and maybe a few other silly things.
